8 members of the DWVA group, including your’s truly, got together yesterday at the Game Vault in Fredricksburg, VA for our first games using the new 2.0 edition of the rules. Factions represented at the event included the Prussians, RoF, Australia, the Ottomans, EotBS, the Russians, and the Covenant.
A great time was had by all! There was a little head scratching with the new rules, mostly due to our unfamiliarity with them. Fortunately, most of our uncertainties, questions, and disagreements were fairly easily settled by a more careful examination of the relevant portion of the rule book. Overall, the reaction to the new rules was positive, and the group is already looking forward to the next event (probably sometime in July!)
