Think I've settled on a scheme for my UNSC ships for Halo: Fleet Battles. Here is an as-yet unnamed
Marathon-class cruiser I'm using as a test subject:
In canon, the UNSC vessels are a very dark gray, and I've seen a few paint schemes already for these ships following that theme. So I decided to go with something a little brighter.
Colors used: the base is P3's Radiant Platinum, with a medium GW Nuln Oil wash. I picked out a few parts of the hull in London Gray from Master Series Paints; I also used this for the antennae that I added to the lower front and top of the ship (trimmed down staples). The rims around the engines are done in Poly Scale's Grimy Black, while the engine glow is the same effect I used on my RoF heat lances.
The squadron markings are Forest Green from MSP. I plan on changing those colors for some of my other ships, just to add a little variation.
