Monthly Poll #7: Which game did you enjoy most in 2016?

As we close out 2016, we figured it would be fun to see which games all of you got the most enjoyment (however you define the term!) from over the past year. Keep in mind, these are not necessarily the games you played the most of, although in a perfect world the game you enjoyed the most and the game you played the most would hopefully be the same thing!

2016 belongs to Halo Fleet Battles for me. We saw some great releases. Greg and I were able to really expand our fleets well and have some seriously memorable battles.

Yes, definitely Halo: Fleet Battles. Really got a chance to dig into the game, expand my fleets, try some new scenarios, etc. Looking forward to trying to link some Fleet Battles and Ground Command games in 2017.

Eve, now that it's free I can start playing it again. Although I haven't had a chance to play any miniatures games this year.

I'll concur on HFB -
I didn't get to play as much as I liked. But measured against rules-neglected Firestorm and the others, it just had the most enjoyable play experiences.
If you overlayed HALO rules on Firestorm, the variety would make that the hands down winner.
STAW is a close second, only because we have some non-cheese folks here I can play against. X-Wing would be more, but just getting some campaign style sessions going for that.

If we are talking only fleet games, Halo does it for me.  Very smooth.  +1 to take HFB mechanics and apply them to Firestorm.

If we are talking any games at all, my favorite new game is Halo Dirt Fight (Ground Command).  It's just fun to play (and kill Landlubber's Spartan on the last possible die roll :) )
