3D STL files for Aeronef
« on: April 24, 2025, 11:59:38 am »
Greetings all,

In the US, I have been having a hard time getting my hands on the Imperial Skies Range from Brigade.  I love the models, but with the new climate it is tough to get things from across the pond.

Is there a good place to find some STL files for Aeronef style ships?  I want to add a fleet or two to my Castles in the Sky fleets.

I thought there were more LTA modelers, but could not find any of the ones I remembered from years ago, and do not know how many survived into the post-Shapeways world...

...disclaimer, I have had no experience with this store, but about half of his fleets look like they are in the Brigade aesthetic.
If my wife asks, I only spent half as much as I wanted to...

There are some designs up on MMF that kind of fit the milieu:

Going to give an upvote to Javelin, or as he sometimes calls himself, National Cheese Emporium. High quality STL sculptor, and with little to no issues with printing, he ran an excellent service on Shapeways Marketplace ( Much mourned) and now on Cults3D and CGTrader.

He is reliable as a seller, and will even take suggestions - He upscaled one of his 3mm models to 6mm on my request.

I don't have any of his Imperial Skies items, but I have had my eye on his civilian ships for some conversion potential for DW.

I've printed a number of Javelin's 6mm/8mm scifi models for Legions Imperialis! Can confrim, they do quality work.
