Seriously, though. I had my doubts, but this is looking better and better. We may have to see about organizing a Colorado MBS movie night to go see this when it comes out.

What do you all think of the new designs for the TIEs, X-Wings, Star Destroyer, and the like?

I don't have a lot of emotional investment in the Expanded Universe, so the new movies contradicting it doesn't bother me too much. In all honesty, though, I don't see how the new movies going their own way destroys anything; to me, it seems like the movies are creating a new story in the Star Wars universe, which is exciting.
