I just discovered this resource of weekly podcasts with a historical theme, and I just listened to this particular lecture which has reinforced my enthusiasm for all age-of-sail Napoleonic-era fiction and non-fiction alike:

A good recording of a lecture by Sam Willis about the British navy around the time of the Napoleonic wars.
If the above link doesn't work, check out the 9 August 2012 episode on the page: http://www.historyextra.com/podcasts (http://www.historyextra.com/podcasts)

Neat find! It's amazing how much good-quality historical material like this is entering the public domain. Youtube, for example, has a number of really interesting naval history lectures.
