The next expansion for DW is right around the corner! This looks like it is going to have a huge amount of material, including the introduction of infantry tokens, and many new land models from various minor European factions. It seems that the focus of this campaign supplement is definitely going to be on the ground combat side of DW, which I think is good, as that part of the game could definitely use some fleshing out. Anyone else really excited for this book?

I'm trying to figure out if I can place a pre-order with Spartan and tie it to an order of Firestorm Armada boxes to get free shipping. Otherwise I'll place an order through the Game Vault.
I really like what they did with the Campaign Points in Hurricane Season, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with land situations in this next one.

I'm in a similar situation; I've already Pre-ordered the book from The War Store. I'm thinking about ordering it again from Spartan and giving the extra copy away as a contest prize or something.

My copy of Storm of Steel arrived today! 8)
I'll probably post a more thorough review of it on the blog here shortly, but after a quick flip-through this book strikes me as being even better than Hurricane Season was. However, off the bat I can tell you that the EotBS, FSA, and COA go pretty much completely unmentioned.

Really looking forward to getting it myself!

I was just at the GV yesterday, and their pre-ordered copies hadn't come in yet... so I still don't have it. But soon enough!
I did, however, pick up a blister of small flyers for my Amaterasu Division fleet--providing the building block for an all air tournament force composition.

Just put up a review of the book on the blog:

Overall, it's a really nice expansion!

I FINALLY got the call from my FLGS that my copy has arrived. Seems my local store isn't using the best distributor for ordering Spartan materials.

Maybe Cathy has started using the same distributor that Doug is using up at Eagle & Empire ;D.
