Thanks for the update. The whole thing looks fantastic. Maybe a CO road trip next year to Adepticon?

That would be awesome if we could all meet up!

Anyway, day 2's summary is up on the blog:

Next year it'll be a hard choice between Adepticon and CaptainCon (and Skiing) :-)

I'm very curious how Blood and Plunder plays. I keep thinking about it, but then rigging sails is daunting. And a part of my brain says, "Why not just play Rum and Bones" for half the cost?

I know from experience that Monday is a "decompress" day, but eagerly awaiting Tourney and Spartan preview reports. I know they showed the Relthoza Leviathan and some other models, but did they talk future plans/stuff in work at all? (I need to know to see what I can discuss of Vanguard knowledge ... )

Also wondering how folks' tourneys went? And highlights of the GNT events?

Those STL Trader ships looked very cool. And I understand those were rough prototypes, don't have all the detail that the final models will, but they still looked great. They almost look like ships that should be in the Rag-Tag Fleet...

I'll try to get to the tourney reports and the rest as soon as I can! As for the GNT events, the Welcome Dinner on Wednesday was a lot of fun, as I got to play a little Frostgrave with Teras. The podcaster dinner on Thursday was awesome too, and I got to swap stories with some of the other hosts in addtion to enjoying some great beer at the Ram. Friday was the Industry Insider dinner, which was also a lot of fun. I got to play some K47 with the Warlord games guys and also some Aetherium with the Anvil8 gents. The bowling outing on Saturday was also fun, though I was starting to feel a bit crappy towards the end. Sunday, well I went to bed early because of being sick and missed out on the boardgaming. :-[ But I'm sure it was a blast!

Anyway, here is my quick report on days 3 and 4:

All, the conversation was starting to get a bit off-topic, so I split off the NOVA discussion to its own thread and moved it to the NOVA section  ;)

Zorper's Adepticon Pics:

In the 'over the top category', these four pics here are not of a game, they are of a display board!  (These guys did a 40K display board as well, which they said had a working beer tap. I didn't get time to find out if they were BSing me, but I bet they were telling the truth.)

Zorper's Adepticon Pics:

A couple of my PlanetFall games.  I had a great time, and even managed to win one.

A bit of Halo Dirt Fight.  Tanks hit hard and die fast.  Some say that Spartans are OP.  Maybe.  But the one Covenant player beat all three of the USNC players.  (Your Spartan can be alive while you are being crushed in VPs...)

I don't recall it being reported, but what factions dominated the main Spartan events?

I was only at PlanetFall and Halo Ground Command.  PlanetFall had a mix of factions with no one standing out.  Grounds Command had three UNSC and one Covenant.  The Covenant guy beat all of us
