Greg/Todd, was your Halo game part of your campaign?

Dakkar!  Don't know if the grapevine made it to you, but we ended up taking out both the Imperial and Victory Star Destroyers!  Our MC80 Cruiser lived on to fight another day!  Thanks Warhawk for letting us use your models and test your Rebel build.  I particular enjoyed General Dodanna's ability to pick which crits you took!

Looking forward to playing this more.

Ground Zero Games (Full Thrust) has some nifty haulers for their main factions too.  You can order them as replenishment tenders, tankers and Q-ships.  The major differences are the bridge pod in front and the engines in back, they resemble the home faction's ships.  Here's an example.

Amarillo Design Bureau also has a few freighter designs.

I'll bring Armada.  I have read through the rules.  Once.  Months ago.  I'll try to reread them before Sunday, no guarantees, but I'm sure we'll wing it on Sunday Dale.

I am using KR-Multicase cardboard boxes with foam trays - that seems to be a bit more aafordable than Battlefoam & Co and there are tons of options available (both for box sizes and for trays)

Those look interesting as well.  Thanks for this one too.

I don't care if it makes sense. I call for the Rule of Cool here. The waterlined Metzger is the model that single-handedly drew me in the game. I owned a couple way before even considering start playing. I usually keep fielding one even if point-wise I could buy something more efficient. Just because it's a big stomping robot treading the sea floor to punch opponents' ships.

Cool models do rule!

So my dreams of getting Battlefoam for everything I own will require (at least) winning a small Powerball jackpot.
Think "I want to protect my well assembled, nicely painted miniatures", as I have had several transportation fails.  I do like the idea of separating each unit from others so they don't touch but that obviously comes at a cost.

What cheap/creative storage/transport solutions y'all are using.

I should be good to play on the 18th for a full day.  Dystopian, Firestorm, could play some Full Thrust (we'll learn as we go and we can use any miniatures for this as we're still learning and it's simple, so Full Thrust, SFB and/or Babylon 5 Wars ships could make an appearance) and/or Star Wars Armada (cooperative learning as I have yet to play).

Greg has been buggin me to get my Dropfleet stuff assembled.  No promises for March, but maybe by the time summer rolls around...

I might try to pick one fun ship and give him a go at it.

I ran across several cool items in Etsy (tokens and markers, paint caddies, etc.).
