Battle of the Java Sea: Japanese cruisers addded

Got the remaining allied ships needed for this battle undercoated today.


Have previously completed the Houston, Exeter, Perth, Electra, Encounter, Pope, John D Ford and Paul Jones.  All GHQ except Exeter

Finished the allies off.  All Panzershciffe.  The two Dutch cruisers, the Dutch destroyers and the remaining 2 US destroyers and HMS Jupiter photos a bit dark very overcast here still.  The Japanese ships should be on the way from the UK very shortly.

Finally got some of the Japanese ships finished,  needed to work out what ones were at both Java Sea and Coral Sea so I don't double up when ordering.
Heavy cruisers:  Nachi and Haguro.  Light cruisers Naka and Jintsu with the destroyers Sazanami and Ushio.  All GHQ




12 destroyers to go to finish this one off

The IJN ships are up to your usual high standards! 12 more DDs, eh? That is quite a bit of work, even if they are small! ;) Looking forward to seeing how they come out.

I've died and gone to GHQ Heaven, look these are just fabulous Ruckdog and Camthalion, and my hat comes off to all those guys that had the foresight to start using these models. The paintwork is excellent ant its the sharpness of these models that really grabs me every time.

Well done guys the deck colour on those Japanese ships is a dead-set match.

I think I'll just camp here for a while....this is excellent.

Thanks very much Fellas.  The first two Japanese destroyers are painted and just need their bases, the rest are awaiting the paint brush with the last two arriving yesterday, along with a heap of ships for my project build on another forum (battle of the Coral Sea).  After my shift today I start my 5 day weekend so hopefully will be able to get some done.
