Historical Naval Games / Looking for new game

Is there a game out there that us based around the mid 1800? Been in an American civil war mode since seeing some mdf models of ironclad on Blackops web site. I have always liked them since I was a kid and my step dad was a big civil war buff.

Well I have found the one thing about MBS forums I dislike.i can not post my pictures of my WIP or even finished work. I have tried many times this week and I get the same error message file to large. I have reset my phones camera to the lowest settings and still says to big. So now I'm done ranting over it

Firestorm Armada / What to get next for the Sorylian

I have just recently split the taskforce box of Sorylian Collective and Relthoza, to get someone into playing. I was wondering what I should look at getting to flush out the Sorylian with. I know I will be getting the patrol box, what else should I look at for them. I play Terran and Dindrenzi. I enjoy the the Dindrenzi more than the Terran if that helps with suggestions.

Firestorm Armada / Base size for the light frigate

So in Taskforce the frigates come with a really small base. When you port them over to Armada do you still keep them on the small base or put them on the normal size base for a frigate. I'm just asking because I got one of the box sets but not to impressed with the taskforce rules but found the download for putting them i.to Armada.

Dystopian Wars / New to game and forces to go with Royal Australia

Ok I'm new to both this game and site. So if I ask a question that is a duh everyone knows that I'm sorry.
I just got a friend into Dystopia wars and we are splitting a two player box, the Bull in a China Shop. He is taking the Chinese and I'm getting the Royal Australia faction. What are a good choice to use for ground forces and air force for them. I looked on spartan to get an idea but I'm not sure besides Kingdom of Britannia.
Thanks for any advice.

Hello all I'm Steamlord78 I hail from the deep Woods of East Texas. I have been playing miniature games since 1994. I found the fun game of firestorm shortly after it came out but have not had the chance to play in a few years. I just found the podcast and I'm in the process of catching up. I have enjoyed the games of firestorm battle fleet Gothic and x-wing as well as attack wing. If anyone lives in the east Texas give me a shout.
