The rules for this year's painting contest are largely the same as they were for last year's. The biggest difference I've made is that there is no longer any advantage granted to MBS forum members in the Admiralty Award voting; originally, the idea was to reward forum members who participated as well as to add additional incentive for members to submit entries, but the last couple of years have demonstrated that it wasn't having the intended effect. So, I pulled it from the rules for this year. Otherwise, the changes were minor and consisted of formating changes and tweaks to the category descriptions for the Members Choice awards :).
