The game plays pretty quick...maybe when we're done I can walk you through a scenario. It's a fun game, and not strictly combat-focused, which opens up lots of other possibilities.

OK, so who's coming on Sunday, and what's being played?

I'll still be there, and Stephan and I had to move our DeepWars game up to today, so now I'm free to play something else. I'd be up for Dystopian Wars, DeepWars (happy to run an intro game if anyone would like to give it a try), Halo Fleet or Ground, or X-Wing.

Not a huge turn-out on Sunday, but the weather was nice here in Denver so I think that might have had something to do with it. MarkyMark and I played a couple of games--I walked him through a basic DeepWars skirmish scenario (Fortune Hunters vs. Ancients of Atalan), and he walked me through a few games of the Star Fleet: Battle Force fleet combat card game. Normally I'm not much for card games, but it was fun, and since no dice were involved I actually did halfway decently.  :D

The third Sunday in May is the 20th...I can't make it that day but that shouldn't keep the group from meeting up. If we do need to slip it a week, I recommend we go a week earlier as Memorial Day weekend is the next weekend. Up to the group.

i think may is a hard one as the 13th is mothersday also. so the 20th makes the most sense if we do get a chance to meet up in may.

I called Collectormania today and reserved one 4x6 table. As I said before I can't make it that day. The table is under my name. Try to be there by 1145, or they may remove the reservation. And let us know how the gaming goes!
