Lose the Lion and the really far too diselpunk flak guns and it's pretty nice.(https://scontent.flhr3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/57597602_10157251805838619_3835113217860829184_o.jpg?_nc_cat=108&_nc_eui2=AeEF5163CwhGXACfQ4iTO49R5Veipet2lFKjvOoi696XUrRqnlCRColk7iKOMqXBFqmkierXQ_8UqQFVQMQRb5CDYjx01a1sBkB0CSybe207OQ&_nc_ht=scontent.flhr3-1.fna&oh=5c6e9420de47af21f367cfefbc03568c&oe=5D35979A)

Still the same issue with all the other designs so far- I just don't get the sense that the designer has any interest in era-appropriate real-world warships.

There's some justification in that this is supposedly a later era than the "Altered Victorian Period" of Classic DW, so the design preferences and so forth will diverge further, but yes, I have to say if you're talking about the general ambeince, the ships are moving toward a more Dieselpunk appearance.
Not that this goes so far from the original that I won't be tempted to field one :) And that aesthetic will work for CoA ships ( Or at least seems to with the artwork so far released. )
