Taking the Plunge

And so it begins...



This will be my THIRD Spartan Games game.  With a fourth on the horizon (Planetfall).  At what point do I get a customer loyalty discount????

You may want to apply for Spartan's Vanguard program.  Were I a younger (and single with no kids) man, I'd probably do it.  Dale was talking about doing it, but I don't know if he followed through.  It would certainly be good to have a Vanguard in the group.

I've thought about that....but you have to have two painted fleets.  I don't have two painted fleets.  I have 4 partially-painted fleets, one completely unpainted (my new RSN), and one partially-painted Dystopian Legions force.  So I don't yet qualify.  Maybe one of these days.

BWAHAHAHA! Welcome to Firestorm! I only wish I could have enticed you into the game before you moved ;)

The Zenian Leauge ships are quite nice. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the paint scheme.

Thanks!  Yeah, I don't know why, but the game just didn't appeal to me back when you and I were first getting into Dystopian Wars. 

I appreciate your vote of confidence, and I hope whatever scheme I come up with doesn't disappoint.  I'm playing around with the idea of a blue and red "dazzle pattern"--I incorporate a LOT of gray into my DW ships, so something colorful would be a nice change.

Well, to be fair, the FA 2.0 rules are a HUGE improvement over the 1.0 rules that were out when I first showed you the game!
