captainrockman's PLC
« on: October 30, 2015, 10:17:21 am »
Hello Everyone,

I have been inspired by Pieprophet and am going to start posting my finished models. I have been in the hobby for just over 9 months and have only painted a few ships for test schemes. But, those days are over! I'm going to be painting for at least 1 hour each night (this works well since my wife and I are catching up on X Files) and will post my fleet's progress whenever full squadrons are completed.

Incoming tonight you will see a full squadron of Bagiennik frigates.

Well. I finished the frigates, but am having trouble posting the photos. I keep getting an error message dealing with the upload path. Has anyone run into this before?

The photos are well under the 192 kb limit all together.

If you use photobucket, you can post images pretty easily.

Yeah, the attachment directory on the forums is messed up again..Its the same cause of the avatars not working. I've been avoiding doing too much to try and correct the issue, out of fear of breaking the forums worse!

As Last Rites mentioned, you would be better off using an external photo hosting service rather than attaching then to your posts. I'm sorry for the inconvenience! For some reason, the attachment hosting features of the forum software have been very unstable.

Those look good! Did you put a wash on the silver parts, or are they just straight silver?

Also, any way we can get some bigger pics?

Thanks!

I kept them straight silver. I like to think that the PLC crew take pride in their ships and keep them as clean as possible. Although, these ships don't have any incendiary munitions or flamethrowers. I am considering adding a dark wash to the cannons and flamethrowers for larger ships.

I will see what I can do about larger photos.

I like em, though i have to admit being a sucker for purple and green. I'm also rather partial to the PLC (I intend to grab some myself someday). I look forward to seeing some bigger pics.

Those looks good. The green and purple definitely works. I can see how the bright silver works as well.
