Hi Geoff,

I have not been to this forum in ages! The Japanese air armada looks great!
BTW: Did you ever play out the battle?

Forgive me if the AAR is elsewhere on the forum. Point me in the right direction if so.

Cheers,

Gary

Have you built any 1/700th versions of your faves?

GQ3 is cool. Should work well if you end up using that one. Have never played Naval Thunder myself.

Try to post an after action report of some kind. Would be interesting to see if you can save the capital ships!

A "what-if" scenario, adding in the Indomitable, might be fun ?  ;)

Great idea buying OOB style. Plus you get everything finished up to fight with! I admire your discipline! I have a horrible habit of buying stuff with the best of intentions and then not getting them painted for eons!

Do you add additional details to the Panzerschiffe stuff?

Again, your ships looks awesome!

Great job! Ships and aircraft look great! Can I make one suggestion though? And this only meant in a positive way/spirit... and to improve on the otherwise awesome looking ships... consider toning down the stark white wakes. They seem a bit heavy-handed and IMHO detract from the great job you did on the ships themselves. OK... now tell me to piss off!  :)

What rules will you use to resolve this battle?

Roll Call / Re: Any Los Angeles based gamers?

Cool Ruckdog! Let us know if you make it out west. One of our guys has a killer set of 1/6000th scale WWII ships and a huge Victory in the Pacific map (4x6). I think he joined the group here too, so you'll probably see links to his blog, etc.

Hey all,

My name is Gary and I play various naval miniatures games with a few friends here in the Los Angeles area.
Currently, there are 4 of us in the group, but we are always looking for more.
3 of us live in the Santa Clarita area and 1 down near Santa Monica. We trade off traveling to sessions.
We play (or have played) War at Sea, Seekrieg, General Quarters, Harpoon and "homebrew" stuff as well.

Let us know if you are within gunnery range!
