Most likely either day would be fine but I think the 22nd is better.
I haven't been up to Enchanted Grounds yet.

Between Dale, Landlubber, and myself we could conceivably run three 4x4 tables of Halo (but two will be good)
I like Dales idea to play Halo for a little while and then transfer over to Planetfall.

Agreed with all of the above. It is what it is. I'd be happy with either, running multiple games of each or running one then the other.

Dale, don't count on Enchanted Grounds having any terrain for either Planetfall or Halo. Admittedly I haven't been in the store in well over a year, but the only miniatures games I've seen played there are 40k and X-Wing. I think they *might* carry Warmachine as well. They're more of a boardgame/cardgame/RPG kind of store. I don't recall seeing any terrain for general use like they have at Gamer's Haven or Collectormania.

On the plus side, though, they have a halfway-decent coffeehouse in the store that also sells some light food.

I still haven't heard back from their scheduling guy.

OK. Heard back from the scheduling guy.

Turns out Enchanted Grounds now has a second location; the other store is in Littleton. The manager there contacted me and said he'd be happy to have us. I reserved our group a couple of tables starting at 10 am on 22 August.

Address for the other store is:

3615 W. Bowles Avenue, Unit 6

Littleton, CO 80123

303.795.0772

Does this work for everyone?

Littleton sounds even better to me! Sweet!
Do we know who will be attending yet?

Sounds good to me.  Maybe get an early start for Halo and then switch to Planetfall about lunch?

Sweet.

@Quickdraw, sounds like at least you, me, Stephan, and Dale...I'll put the word out to a few other folks as well.

@Stephan, yeah, I think that sounds good. We could run through Scenarios 2 and 3 in the campaign guide (the first scenario isn't too fun for the UNSC player), give you an idea of moving and shooting. And I still have not played a game of Planetfall, so that would be good to check out as well.

Time and place sound good!
What is their actual earliest open time? (In case I'm feeling like an early bird...)

@Stephan, no worries, somebody's gotta steer this ship!  :D (see what I did there?)

@Dale I *think* they open around 0700. They are also a coffee shop, after all.

Also, I heard back from the owner last night, he has no issue with us playing a game there that he doesn't carry. He said the only game they don't allow in the store is Cards Against Humanity. Not sure what that's all about...  ???

I might zip up earlier for breakfast then. All depends on how late the night before goes...

So for Saturday:

Who's bringing HALO ships, and who needs to borrow to learn?

Who's got Planetfall forces already, and who needs to learn from scratch (and likely borrow stuff too)?

I'll be there with my boxed set, so I'll have both fleets. Although, I don't think there are enough bases in the box to put every single model from both factions on the table. I'm going to be there a little late thanks to work...probably between 1030 and 1100. Will get there as soon as I can.

I'll bring Planetfall.  I've got a full core helix, so plenty enough for two armies.

You work on a Saturday morning? Who's your boss, Bill Lundberg? ;-D
