Ok, one full table will be taken up with Firestorm Armada—how much room do you need to play Full Thrust? Can we run FT and X-Wing at the same time on one table?

Warhawk, I’ll bring all my starfighters, I have quite a few and you’re welcome to use some of mine.

sounds good man. I got 100pts worth of guys I think that I was gonna run at some point just haven't yet lol. Tho it would be scum and villainy. so ya know whichever side pays the best gets the help :D

Scum and Villainy, eh? Those guys are shifty. I'll try to bring my A-game.

I've got my Full Thrust Models ready and I've got the Full Thrust Lite rules ready to learn and teach (I've never actually had a chance to play).  I'm as ready to go as I can be.  If someone could bring an extra space mat that would be great.

Actually Starfire is a way, way old hex grid and cardboard counter game.  I guess it could be used with minis.  I only suggested it because we were talking about it last summer.

Hey Zorper (and gang), have you not seen these???

I plan on getting some at some point.  Kinda exciting to see these ships from various product covers and pages spring to life!

And I'll be there on Sunday too.  I can bring some FT (been ages since I've played) and/or FSA ships.  What factions are you bringing Zorper?  What time?  What points for FSA?  Do we need another space mat?

Excited to be back and looking forward to getting together and enjoying some mutually assured destruction!

I have a bunch of NSL and UNSC models for Full Thrust.  But I have never played so I was planning on a couple games of the generic fleets in Full Thrust Lite to see if I like the game.  Landlubber said about 11 so I should be there by 11:30 or earlier.

Store opens at 1100. I'll be there when they open, and I'll bring my 6x4 space mat.

We have a guaranteed two tables, possibly three.

Thanks to all who were able to come out today to Collectormania for some space wargaming! Dakkar and MarkyMark played some Firestorm Armada, Zorper and BrdingPrty had a go at Full Thrust (the light version of the rules), and Warhawk and I played X-Wing.

BrdingPrty's fleet for Full Thrust. Mix of a few different ships here:

Dakkar's Syndicate (aka Space Gangsters) battleship (Firestorm Armada):

Those Syndicate ships are pretty impressive. First time I've seen them on the table.

Meanwhile, in the X-Wing game, my Imperial squadron was facing down Alex's high-caliber Scum and Villainy squadron:

I was able to focus nearly all my ships on the Jumpmaster 5000 in the first turn and ended up destroying it, but as I learned later I should have focused on that HWK-290. That thing ended up being a real pain.

Zorper's UNSC ships for Full Thrust (not to be confused with the UNSC ships in Halo!):

Syndicate mixing it up with MarkyMark's Relthoza.

The spider ships look sinister in their all-black scheme. I told Mark he needs to make a few highlights on them in bright yellow to really creep people out.

https://nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/field-guide/black-and-yellow-garden-spider

Just sayin', Mark. Just sayin'.

Things fell apart for the Imperials over on the X-Wing table. One by one, the TIEs went down to the smugglers' shenanigans. I kinda felt bad at the beginning of the game because I was running two TIE Phantoms (one of which was Echo, who has some bizarre movement), but at the end of the game I didn't feel so bad. Warhawk's pilots were handing out stress tokens and stealing my pilots' actions like it was nothing. Shenanigans, indeed.

After our X-Wing game was over, BrdingPrty and Zorper coached Warhawk and myself through a couple of turns of Full Thrust Light. We got a little movement and a lot of shooting under our belts. Warhawk, again, pretty much decimated my fleet, but it was good to try a new game. I'm not used to playing games where you have to track damage using pencil and paper, but what little we did play I found enjoyable. Would definitely like to try it again.

Due to Genghis Con, we're going to hold our next Games Day at Collectormania on 11 February. I reserved a couple of 4x6 tables already for that date, so we should be good to go. Come out and join us if you can!
