In addition it could be cool to include a monetary system for upgrades/repairs.

There's a whole campaign system for X-Wing for a group of Rebel pilots to co-op through AI-script-run Imperial Scenarios, and after each game they get upgrade "experience". I'd guess by now they have an imperial side version, but we could use those to guide our upgrades ... have all our X-Wing games involve set Squadrons and see how they advance, lose pilots, etc

I'll find the material online later this week.

BTW, what's the plan for the next "main day" in April or early May?

Remember the 6th would be May the 4th weekend. Might be LOTS of Legion and X-Wing events locally.

I think my best weekend is Apr 22nd, unless Stephan wants to play ASCENDANCY the day before :-)

That might be too linear for our purposes. As we are considering a large scale game with multiple players on each side. But the missions from that game could be helpful in providing inspiration for the types of X-Wing games we want to have.

I think the X-Wing campaign you're thinking of is the "Heroes of the Aturi Cluster". I've heard really good things about it, but i've never played it myself.

If we stick with the "third Sunday of the month" model like we've been doing, the next game day would be 15 April--I haven't made the reservations yet with Collectormania but that's what I was planning. If more people can make it the following weekend, we can move it, but I'll be out of town that weekend.

April has too many weekends :-)

I was hoping for the 22nd, but if you're out of town, go ahead and plan for the 15th. I'm unlikely for that, but there's a chance. :-)

OK, we're all set for 15 April at Collectormania. I reserved two 4x6 tables for us.

What are we playing? I'm up for Halo Ground, Halo Fleet, Dystopian Wars, Full Thrust, Firestorm Armada, X-Wing, etc.

Hey everyone. I’m not able to come to the event on the 15th, but is anyone available this coming weekend (April 7th and 8th)?

So today played against Landlubber in SW:Legion. He used my rebels, and i went with the imperials. Overall id say its a super fun game. Vader if not taken care of will just walk through things tossing his light saber around. Wedge is super maneuverable which is pretty awesome. AT-RTs losing their main weaponry when damaged really hinders their performance, but with a 1/6 chance for that to happen makes Landlubber the unluckiest person i know right now to have it happen to 2 AT-RTs.  I am definitely looking forward to playing some more, especially when more units come out to have more variety. Also don't for the love of god don't put targeting scopes on stormtroopers as they already have Precise lol.

For the 15th...not sure. Stephan and I are going to knock out a couple games of DeepWars, but we likely won't need one of the 4x6 tables for that. I have two tables reserved for the group and I plan to be at the store at 11 when they open.
