I enjoy X-Wing, but I'm more interested in a fleet action game with system mechanics which simulate larger ships. Looks like Armada is the next Fantasy Flight game for me:

There have been a few new pre-views put up by FFG recently; there is some really exciting stuff in there!
So, we are still a few months off from the game's release from the looks of it, but I can say I'm definitely going to jump into this one. Is anyone else planing on getting this game when it hits?

The latest episode of the D6 Generation Podcast features an interview with Michael Gernes, the producer of Armada. It is a great episode! Some really interesting discussion on the game. You can check it out here:

This looks cool, might have to hide away a few bucks for them ships.

The game is on the street! Has anyone gotten their set yet?

Haven't got it yet but I will be letting the kids know they'll have to pay for their own college thanks to Fantasy Flight.

I got my starter set a few days ago. It is a much bigger box than I thought it would be! I'm still going through the rules, but it seems pretty interesting so far. I will put together a more detailed unboxing post with pics up on the blog in a day or two.
