Title: WestAussies Collection
Post by: WestAustralian on September 11, 2017, 06:28:53 pm
Hi all,
Some of you may know me from other forums.
I am after a place to post pictures of my painted miniatures.
Hopefully this can be that place.

My Rusted and Damaged FSA Corsairs

(Picture link test)

I have a lot of Spartan Games Miniatures, I really like their attention to detail.
I will get some more pictures up soon and see how this goes.

Thanks for looking

Didn't you have a nice collection of planetfall as well?

Hi Fracas, I have a HUGE Planetfall collection.
I have a whole lot of miniatures, painted and unpainted.
I am just starting off slowly.
I want to see if anyone is interested in all this

Some Dindrenzi Planetfall minis, my FSA / PF Works Raptor, and FSA Terran

Are you looking to sell them?
Don't do it!

Oh nope, defiantly not selling up.
By "interested in all this" I mean, interested in me posting pics of my extensive collection.
With the Spartan Forum down, I am looking for a new hangout.

If there is interest, I can also re-do my FSA fiction thread

@fracas do you know where other Spartan Forum regulars ended up?

Beautiful work, WA! Thanks for sharing  8).

I'd definitely be interested in you FSA fluff posts; if you like, I'll even set you up an account on the MBS blog so you can post there as well as on the forums ;).

Thanks for the great comments guys

Ruckdog, a Blog spot sounds like a great idea. Thanks
It will be a little slow, but I aim for quality

Here are my current Omnidyne Allies

I need to expand on these two fleets.
My Tarakian fleet has a very simple, fast scheme

The first part of my White Omnidyne fleet is complete.
My Omnidyne have a split structure
2 seperate commanders that can ally together.

I have really enjoyed the Omnydine so far and the split colour fleet has really grabbed my interest.
I could really see myself doing other fleets with split colour schemes.
Thanks for looking, comments appreciated

Why did you go with the split?

The first Omnydine model I got was as an ally to my Corsairs. The Dreadnought.

When I started using the cruisers (still unpainted) and Battleship. It was with my Directorate.

I began to see the Omnydine as being part of seperate fleets. So when I started to write Fiction for my FSA I just continued with that theme.

I also have 2 split Corsair forces. They split based on old miniatures / new miniatures

Red Omnydyne:
"Old Man Rob" had a long and productive career in the Directorate Naval Command Consortium, before retiring to the life of a Privateer.

The White Fleet:
John "Ward" started his life orphaned on the streets, but his Drive and Passion would bring him the Power and Respect he always knew he deserved.

I hope to get some Blog space on here to post my Fiction.

The Fleets are not complete, but I have a great understanding of what I want from them.

Blog is in progress, I am figuring out the interface and making my text portable.
I need to do it from PC, not mobile phone.
Still working out Pictures for the Blog too

I like your blue, sets them really apart from the darkness of space. :)

And you should check the link to the Tarakians.

For blog space i use the one from google, Blogger. Never had any problem with it.

After many a distraction I finally got my Terran Station finished
It's a really nice sculpt, but I had to leave the Flat acrylic parts off.
Their smoothness does not suit the look imho.

But I am trying to finish my Veydreth ships.

That Foundry dreadnought is fantastic, followed closely by the Executive battleship.  Nice work all around.
