Hi all! It looks like the 6th is shaping up to be my next gaming day. As usual, I am happy to come up to E&E, or I can host at my place instead.

Will check with my Scheduling Secretary, and get back to you. I do have a Directorate/Works Raptor Fleet that needs to fly...

I have the 6th scheduled. I would like to do a campaign battle- Take the Straights. Two turns with Advance forces then three with reserves and whoever controls 1 and at least denies the other straight wins, no local air, except for Ruckdog (5 SAS).
I need an opponent.

I realized I typed the 6th, when I actually meant the 5th :-[. What time on the 6th? I can make it if it is after about 2 PM; doing it on a Sunday makes it harder for me due to Church ;).

So, to recap, I can either support the 5th starting at noon, or the 6th starting at around 2 PM. I apologize for the confusion!

I could do something on the 6th 2:30ish. The Commodore has spoken that Sunday afternoon is possible :)

Ok! I'll have to play it by ear. The twins have started teething in earnest, and Gwen may want me to stay and look after them so she can run some errands or rest on Saturday ;).

If you need to be home, we can assemble there. It's your decision. I'd like some games, but I understand life.

I made the same mistake, it is the 5th- SATURDAY -I have scheduled for this. Noon is fine.
Sunday I am in Richmond visiting friends and the Rodin exhibit at the VMFA.

Well, if you guys are willing to come over, you are welcome to! Saturday around noon has been cleared with CinC-House ;).

The Commodore has me scheduled until 14:00 on Saturday. I could arrive after that, but you'd have to let me know if you think that would work.

I shall bring my DW, and my Firestorm fleets, both. Should be there 15:00 ish.

I will bring my DW FSA TF for the Take the Straight Scenario, and some Islands for the essential part of the scenario.
I have my forces selected already, including Advance forces. Hoping for a fast set up.
For Ruckdog in that scenario, you would get 5 SAS Local Air and I can take take either a Escort Carrier or the Vulcan repair ship (from wining the Convoy scenario)

Wow that was a wild game! Four Magazine explosions and amazing shield dice. Then I roll 6 or 7 sixes in a row on one last exploding die after and ended with 23 or 24 hits, still not a double crit on the Prussian Dread. Some amazing High AD total complete whiffs by both sides, and as usual some big damage from small AD totals. The FSA had streaky dice again.
But the Activation edge for the FSA eventually won out. The B-72s were a hit magnet again but did well in the early stages. Man the dice were nerve wracking.
The Firestorm Armada game was educational. Without the player aids out I felt pretty lost. We need more practice. Point size was good.
