Ditto for my new Blazing Sun Squids... I might have enough eventually to field a whole Tentacular fleet! Cthulhu Division attacks from their secret base in R'lyeh!

That thing looks SWEET. Love the hovercraft design, that's new for the DW world I think. Lots of interesting clues as well in the text about what rules we might see for the Egyptians. I think I'm going to halt my plans to acquire the Black Wolf mercs and wait to see how the Egyptians flesh out. If the rest of the ships look as good, this may be my next fleet.

Do we know who the Egyptians side with? Such an ancient and mystical tradition should surely be assimilated by the Prussian Imperium!

The post made reference to the Egyptians and Ottomans not getting along, so I'm guessing they're likely not Imperial Bond. You Prussians will have to go dig somewhere else for the Ark of the Covenant. :D
But I didn't see an explicit mention of them belonging to the Grand Coalition either.

I was definitely expecting something more monumental in appearance for the Egyptians. But the hover design is unique looking. Not sure how I feel about the Ottomans yet again going from Mr. Broadsides to inferior broadsides though.

I have to say, all of these core faction update units look pretty awesome! Is it just me, or do they all have a similar style that is subtly different than current models for the same factions? That's more of a loose impression; I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is.

I really don't like the look of this ship. At all.
I love the nods to wings and Ra hieroglyphics but where are my pyramids, obelisks and sphinx stuff? I want to be reminded of Luxor and the grandure of ancient Egypt, not some Zubr class hovercraft 150 years early.
Most likely I'll have a box of Egyptians to trade as soon as I get my Kickstarter box. Seriously disappointed.

I like 'em. The weapon on top of the battleship reminds me of the head of the staff from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
