I must be doing it wrong. I look for audiobooks through iTunes (being a Mac user), and often times the titles I'm interested in are well over $20.

I'm also a bit old-fashioned...I like the feel of a good, solid book in my hands.

Buying ala carte can get pricey, yes. I do the monthly credit for $16, and that covers a title a month which is about my burn rate.
