Yes, I was envisioning everyone against the Martians.  I'd prefer to have two tables set up, so a second martian force would certainly be welcome.

I don't have any land based units so if I could borrow some I'd like to have a go.
It sounds great.

Mark, why am I not surprised you have a "rather large" ground force? You, my friend...have a resin problem.  :D

Chris--yeah, don't worry. If nothing else, you can use my tanks.

Stephan, what time do you want to get started?

Acknowledged.  I only hope they run out of resin before I run out of cash.

I plan to get there when the store opens at 11 to start setting up terrain.  Collectormania is still showing their September schedule online, but I need to call them to reserve two tables.  I'm going to try and get Forrest's Invaders set assembled between now and then so we have enough for two tables if no other Invaders show up.

Now, here's your mandatory viewing in prep for the game!  This movie has everything, including Nikola Tesla in full mad scientist gear, a ray-gun wielding and bar fighting Teddy Roosevelt, and the Red Baron!

Grrr!  Love that!  I'll bring some cold germs to the fight, just in case we need them of course.

I called Collectormania and we're all set.  They're reserving two tables for us starting at opening.

That movie looks fantastic. I have a trip coming up this weekend, may see if I can rent it.

The alien fliers look like something in the CoA inventory.

That movie is definitely corny but fun.

I inventoried and started assembling the tripods and such from Forrest and can now field about 4000 pts.  That much will only be needed if we get enough folks for two full tables.  I'm thinking that the scenario this time around will be Terran Counter-Attack!  The allied forces will take the offensive and try to drive out a Martian base.
