Thanks for posting this! I had missed it  (I know, what kind of DCM am I?). I would really like to participate in this event, but I really don't have anyone to play against. I guess Vassal is an option, but I've never really figured out how to use it (I do have it and the BFG module installed, though).

I have played twice on vassal now, the controls are a bit meh but its not too bad just takes a bit longer than table top. Theres actually a few people on there from time to time. The biggest problem ive seen is working out the scheduling.
