Dale,

Looks like I won't be there for either event.  If you want any of my terrain and/or mat, let me know and we can figure out a way to get it to you in time for Friday's event.

Bummer :-(
I'll be heading up early Friday afternoon at the latest, likely earlier. Could I swing by your place to grab the stuff then?
(And am I still cool to crash on Friday night?)

Finished up the last of the terrain I'm bringing along. I don't have a lot of 3D asteroids (actually, it's a set for Star Wars Armada so it's got some ruined SW ships if that's alright).  Plenty of felt templates for throwing down asteroid tokens and a decent number of gas clouds.

Awesome stuff, Don! Thanks for bringing it!

Between my own, the Haven's, and Stephan's, I should have 4 table covers, plus whatever other folks bring. I have my own asteroids, maybe some from the Haven, and a set of terrain from some another local who can't make it.
So adding in your stuff I think we're well covered for Friday night.

Now the trick will be terrain for Planetfall...

For Planetfall, I've got my Dropzone Commander ruined city terrain, that should be enough for one table.  I have a bunch of other miscellaneous crap to probably make another table.  I'll try to show up early and help you set up.

Just a quick plug (not trying to hijack the thread)...

I'm running a Dystopian Wars demo from 9 to 12 on Saturday morning, and a Halo demo from 1 to 4 on Saturday afternoon. Both scenarios can accommodate 4 players, and I'm providing all the models for both. Come out and have a look or stop by and say hi if you're interested. I don't know where they'll have me set up, I imagine in the main miniatures room adjacent to the dealers' hall.

Accident on northbound I-25 south of catlerock. I suggest an alternate route.

That was a great little event Dale, thanks for hosting. Nice to play with some new folks and really cool to see an event with all painted ships.
I'll be posting a battle report based on the games I played in a little bit.

I actually wound up having a great time at the Planetfall Tournament.  There were only four players, but I had more fun then most of the other larger tournaments I've attended.  Thanks Dale for putting it together.

Wish I could have made it to day 2, but then numbers would have been uneven so I guess it doesn't matter.

I notice the deal that is the Dropzone Commander terrain wins again!  I wish more folks were playing that game as well.  I just bought the starter set and am about 300 in the hole due to the Dropfleet Commander kickstarter.

Am I missing something on how to apply the coupon codes from the event?  Trying to pick up the new FS: Task Force Terran/Dindrezi starter box for myself and Chris through the web store and when I apply the code it errors out saying the codes need to be 13 characters when the codes on the certificates are 6 characters.  Do we add the code as a comment on the order and the discount will be applied after checkout or am I just blind to something glaringly obvious?
