New Individual DW Minis

Looks like they're starting to become available in the DW store, in the parts section.  There are some issues (like having the same French pic all over the Russian, Blazing Sun and Covenant pages), but looks like a lot of the newer minis are there.  Shop away!

I did some quick calculations, For the cost of the new minis and shipping I could get the box set cheaper. I essentially got a free Toulon Carrier and a bunch oh Frigates I can give away at Halloween.

In my lust to have everything in the FSA arsenal, picked up:

- The assault carrier (what a doll)
- A single battle cruiser. My Logic on getting one is that I have all the other naval mediums, and like to run eclectic lists
- The 4 pack of movement trays, for uniformity
- Since it is a parts store I grabbed a few bits for a conversion I'm working on. Along with, what I hope are, original FSA Orlington Turrets. The style of these old ones were better IMO...
- Lastly I snatched another boston...just because haha

Agreed on the turrets.  Would like to see pics if you throw the older turrets on the newer ships.  I actually like the way the double-barreled turrets look on the Independence (the turrets from the Princeton gunships).

Also interested in how the assault carrier fares.  With all this talk of using carriers, and with Tiny Flyers (which is what I'll always call them) being more useful, my Saratoga is seeing more action now...but it's so fragile!  And, it can only engage targets at RB2.

Oh i didn't get the double barreled options for the turrets. I am using those for the bombard ships only. I meant the original Orlington guns, like on the Dread. The new resin ones just aren't doing it for me...also i messed up gluing the barrel to the turret...
