Brigade Models New Releases (Updated 27 Oct 20)
« on: July 24, 2020, 02:57:05 pm »
Hi all! As I'm sure many of you are, I'm an admirer of the very nice minis produced by Brigade Models. I figured I'd start a running thread to showcase all of their new stuff as it comes out! They have just announced a couple of interesting new capital ships for their starship line:

ChengZu class battlecruiser

Fengzi (wind) class Carrier

Most of the Aeronef lines are receiving upgraded and/or new scuplts, using their CAD/CAM 3D printed masters and most of the ones released so far are very good - I got a pair of the German dirigible BBs for *ahem* reasons, and they are really nice - They scale pretty well with DW ships and digs as well, much more so than the ships TBH.

Oh and in the starship line, I got myself a British supercarrier for my anniversary of birth; That is one HUGE lump of resin, I tell you *three* times.  Lovely cast though and a very celan sculpt- I also have the miltary transport fro the British, and th carrier dwarfs that. The hull is also in resin, and I'm podenerign why the BB and other Capital Brits don't move to that and avoid all those ill fitting hull halves. ( I'd ask, but I'm too well known for asking "Will this be avilable in 6mm?" for many of their other ranges, so I leave my hand down a lot these days  . . . :D )

Brigade has announced a line of warp gates!

The copy mentions that they will be useful for the upcoming game A Billion Suns, which has mechanics that allow players to jump from one table to another. Also available are some new fighter and bomber models.

New American models for Aeronef!

http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/Blog/2020/10/american-airpower/

Per the post, this is 15 new sculpts; 9 replace existing models in the line, and 6 are brand-new ship types. Neat! For the record, I think they got the "buff" color for their Great White Fleet scheme a bit dark  ;D
