I could do either day.  Should we shift to Sunday to avoid the Pathfinder crowd and get DarkKnight on board, or would that hose up other people?

I'm only free Sat since I have a Baptism to go to on Sunday afternoon.  Dale, his friend, and I will be there Sat one way or another.

Understood.  I'll try to be there around 10:00 as well to help you hold down tables. My Shadowhunter set came in today, so I'll read up on the 2.0 rules as much as possible before then.

So, obviously we don't ALL have to meet at the same time, but it is fun.  Let's start tossing out dates now to see if we can all meet up in August.

I'm available anytime on the 9th and 10th, the 16th and 17th, and the 23rd.  I can do whatever venue works for you guys.

To double-check, this Saturday we're using V2.0 of the rules.  How about planning for 1000pts each?  I'm bringing Prussians.  Dale is bringing FSA.  I have loaner French and CoA fleets that I can bring, though I don't have any of the more recent releases for them.

Do we want to plan for any scenarios so it's not just "line up and shoot"?  I'd be good with picking something from Hurricane Season.

1000 is good, I can bring Russians, CoA, ROF and EoBS.  Of course, none are painted, but some are assembled, LoL!  2.0 rules and Hurricane or drive and shoot, whatever works for me.

2.0, roger.  I'll bring 1000 points of FSA and French air and sea models.  Haven't picked up the new French naval box yet, but I do have several of the new American ships...hopefully the Liberty will make its presence known in grand fashion...

Scenario play is always fun.  I have the Hurrican season book as well, never run any of those, might be interesting.  I was thinking that maybe we could start a campaign amongst all of the Denver players at some point--something that would go for a few months.

Mark, no worries; I still have stuff from my original FSA boxed set from 2011 that I haven't painted.

I have stuff from the last 33 years I have not painted...

I did not notice, nor did I look, but does 2.0 (or 1.0 for that matter) limit the number of aerial forces that can be included in a naval game?  I suspect the lines might blur with the French and those fancy GNE units...

Yah, thanks Stephan.  I started reading it again last night, and caught most of that.  Thanks for mentioning the large/med/small percentages.  I knew it was there but I missed it.

Looking forward to tomorrow's game.  Maybe we can take a few minutes and brainstorm some small 3-5 scenario campaigns to tackle.  Once we've done one or two of those, we can take what we've learned and and move onto something a bit more grand.

Awesome.  What's your availability in August?  Would any of the above weekends work for you?

The 9th-10th looks good for me as it seems everyone could do that. As of right now really any should work except next weekend

My August looks pretty open right now, so the 9-10th should work for me as well.
