Poseidon's Warriors- A Review
« on: September 06, 2017, 09:31:29 am »
Greetings,

I picked up Poseidon's Warriors when it came out from Osprey.  I tend to get all the blue covered Wargames Series and write reviews for them when I can.

Here is the link to my blog about this particular game: https://bloodandspectacles.blogspot.com/2016/12/review-poseidons-warriors-osprey.html

This is a very fast play and rules lite game, but it has scratched the itch for me.  I can typically get a game done in about an hour or so.  However, this will not be to everyone's taste.

We played a game at Haven in CO Springs two Sundays ago. 75 ships (Tumbling Dice 1/2400) Greeks v Persians. Two players brand new to both naval and Poseidon's Warriors played to conclusion in under 2.5 hours,

These are quick but flavorful rules. Easy to learn and teach.

I added a couple of pictures in the gallery.
