And one bonus is that there is a large (but unfinished) basement that I can offer up to host some gaming sessions now and then.

You heard it here first, folks! Mark is offering to host game day at his house!!  :) :) :) :)

Few months away Gregory!  Cool part is we can do two (or more) parters.  Don't have to put stuff away so can have multiple sessions, continuing battles to the bitter end.

It sounds like we might have a "halfway between the groups" place for large linked campaigns...

Any thoughts on this month's meet-up?  I'm thinking the 13th.

I'll be moving house, so maybe July for me... ;-)

I could do the 13th or the 14th. That's actually my only available weekend for June.

What are we playing? I think we're out of the Dystopian quarter by now...

The 13th works best for me.  I was thinking Firestorm.  It looks like the Facebook Firestorm guys meet at a place called Adventurer's Quarter in Arvada.  If you guys were amenable to it, I was thinking we could try to roll those guys in and hold this month's gathering out their way.  I'll volunteer to drive anyone who wants.

Thoughts?

Get everyone roped in together! Especially since it sounds like they have some folks inconsistently applying rules. If we're all on the same pages, and all known to eahc other, it makes getting bigger events at Cons work that much better!

Agreed. Dale brings up some good points. Maybe we could even talk to them about alternating locations or something--we go up there, they come down to Collectormania, etc. Always good to build out the player base and get more opponents!

I haven't heard much from folks saying they can make it if we do this month's meet-up in Arvada.  I'm double-checking with the west-side guys to make sure they'll be there, but I'd like to get a head count from our side as well.  As I said, I'll volunteer to chauffer out there if you'll meet me at the hotel where they hold GhengisCon and TactiCon.  Cars should be safe there and then I'll drive the rest of the way up 225 and then over on 70.  I can fit 6 passengers and reasonable amounts of gaming stuff.

Tentatively I could do the 13th but I can't confirm that yet.

I'm good for the 13th. What time do we want to meet at the hotel to drive up? Thanks for offering to drive, btw.

For those who want a ride out to AQ on Saturday, meet me at the Radisson hotel at Parker and I225.  We'll meet in the lot on the east side of the hotel at the store opens at 11 and mapquest says it's about a half hour drive by interstate, so let's plan to meet at 10:15.  My cell is 719-444-0885 if you're running late and need me to wait a few minutes.

Good to go. The Radisson is also known as the Red Lion, right? Same hotel used for the cons.
