Sorry for my absence from the forums, Real Life stuff.

This weekend and next weekend are out for me, I'm afraid. I am free the 27th but not the 28th.

Any thoughts on July Meet-up? It's looking like 16th or 30th are the only possibilities for me - and that's before any new 40K events sweep me up :-)

I think I'm out of town on the 16th but the 30th is open. I might even have my League of Crimson chaps by then.

I would be cool with the 30th currently.

July is a no-go for me. My next likely available weekend is 12-13 August.

July is a no-go for me. My next likely available weekend is 12-13 August.

12th is the Gamer's Haven Auction (where my Prussians may or may not be for auction, depending how much the STO tempt me)
13th I'll be packing for GenCon. (And probably scrambling on last minute painting) :-) And even if I'm fully ready, Machelle may want some of my time before I vanish for 8 days of gaming. :-)

Nothing says there can't be events both 30th and the 13th though.

Warhawk, where are you located? I know for me and McKinstry are closer to Gamer's Haven for the 30th. Also, not sure if Stephan might make either date.

For the 30th, I'd be content to try out new DW rules, since my Syndicate ships are unlikely to be painted yet. And I'd rather play my next FA game with new 3.0 Rules if they're close enough. :-)

I'm open to most anything. Other than grandchild duty and some house building decision stuff, I'm simply a flexible retired guy.

Hi guys - I'll have to bow out for the 30th. The 29th is Machelle's Granny's 100th birthday party, and then all the out of town visiting family will be coming by our place on the 30th. So no dice (or rolling them) for me.

Well folks, summer is slowly drawing to a close. Let's see if we can get this thing back on track. Awhile ago I proposed the third Sunday of the month at Collectormania in Parker--that would put our next meetup on 17 September. I don't think that's interfering with any other major gaming events in the area (it's two weekends before Tacticon), so I say let's go with that date.

Thoughts?

I've committed to a 28mm WSS some Sunday in September at Haven but otherwise September is open. I won't know which Sunday is spoken for until the 27th of this month.

McKinstry, understood.

As for what game...we could take the inaugural group plunge into Dystopian 2.5. Or we could do the Obscure Games Day that we've discussed before. I'm up for whatever, doesn't necessarily have to be Spartan, although I'm always up for some Dystopian or either of the Halo systems.

I'd be down for that, to try out these new Blazing Sun models.

What was on the table for that? I can't recall...
