Thanks to all. Halo ground wars was a hoot. I enjoyed the system which much like Halo Fleet Battles, is elegant but tactically deep.

I will turn over planning for the April game day to someone else.

Dunno if I'd be the best to organize, but how does April 22nd or 23rd sound at Collectormania? And make it Firestorm Armada and HALO and DFC?
I'd like to get my new Syndicate on the table mainly. But I'd be open to a DFC learning game as well.

Another option is shifting to the weekend of the 29th, but that's also Tabletop Day. So there'll be pressure to boardgame locally, and C-Mania might be packed.

Finally got the pictures off the phone. Here are a few from our last games day.

FSA vs KoB rematch:

This is how the FSA commodore's ship was sunk:

And one of the gunships:

So. Much. Ramming.

Zorper used the Planetfall bunkers in the Dirt Fight game. I think they worked pretty well!

Thanks for looking!

I have McKinstry down for the 23rd - who else would be free for some Firestorm Armada?

And I guess I need to call Collectormania to reserve... Greg - do you have a specific contact there?

Since the Leviathan rules haven't even been teased yet, I'll settle for running my Syndicate.

Nope, just call the store. I usually request two of the 4x6 tables.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to miss it again. Hopefully I can make it in the later quarters of the year.

I do not have any Firestorm.  I can bring DW, PlanetFall, and Halo Dirt Fight.  I've got two factions for both PF and HDF if anyone wants a demo of those games.

Not Naval related, but I also have CAV and Deadzone I can bring for something different.

I've never tried Firestorm and would love to take a crack at that.

So far sounding like just three of us - me, McKInstry, and Zorper.

I can bring enough Firestorm for everyone (I have a full fleets for Sorylians, Relthoza x2, Bakash, and cobbled together Directorate)
...or if you wish, we can just go for Dystopian after all, since we all play it. I'm flexible.

FSA gives me a push to assemble my Syndicate

DW gives me a push to assemble my EotBS Giant Robot and new BB and new Carrier.

I'm not really down for FSA.  Nothing against Armada, I'm just not interested in learning another fleet game.  If I'm the third wheel I may just sit this one out.  Don't change your plan just for me.  Thanks.

McKINstry, do you still want to learn Firestorm? I forget, are you in the Springs?

I'm in the Springs and having just retired, have a pretty flexible schedule.
