Reading Empires at War Series by Doug Danridge. Its a great series, and a bit different then the Galaxy Unknown Series. Galaxy Unknown was a better version of Honor Herrington for me, though I may now be shot and quartered while still suffering from a bullet in the gut by legions of loyal fans for Honor Harrington folks.

Yeah stuff looks good. Though if What i remember is true from the old B5 days Stephan, you dont need another Fleet to bring the pain to everyone. I still remember when you let me use those Shadows.

Or I could add in 2 Destroyers dale. Ambush 2 is nasty with its spook torps and PResion beams. Also they have Stealth systems.

« on: January 13, 2015, 03:21:55 pm »Oh yeah, almost forgot - the concept of paying army build points for Command Points to use in Bidding actiosn is a TERRIBLE idea. Crossing over your build mechanic with a fog-of-war mechanic is either going to be utterly ignored, or horribly abused. The only GOOD way to do that mechanic is have everyone start with the same amount, and have to decide where to allocate it (by turn perhaps) before the game begins.
Dale from what I am reading of the rules and the PDF, Purchasing Additional command points to bid to steal the initiative that round. This represents a Commander pulling in more supplies and resources that he could us in a fight, not troops or vehicles, but a tighter supply line.
Thus he is able to take command of the battle at strategic moments.

Saddly no other Spartan Games. I try to limit myself to only 2 or 3 game systems at a time. Used to play BFG and B5, but after several years in the military I have lost those models.

Hello everyone. I go by Ulric online but in real life John. I Have been directed here by Dalekunz. I am playing Firestorm as well as its new ground fighting game. Mostly focusing on the ZL and Rense System Navy. Also I am from Colorado Springs area.
