Historical Naval Games / Project Jutland - Destroyers Everywhere

Well boys and girls that was a slog, getting through the neck end of 50 Destroyers  (and Torpedo Boats for the pendants out there).

However it has made a big dent in the number of ships needed to complete the project. 78% of the Germans and 64% of the British are done with a vast majority of my remaining ships "in da bungalow", just have 1 WTJ order to do.

Afternoon Naval Gamers,

Just a quick mind update on Project Jutland, the last 6 German Dreadnoughts are finished, that's all the big guns done, hurrah !

Lots more pics on the blog post. Just the 52 Destroyers and Torpedo Boats on the paint tray to be getting on with then. No time for slacking.

Historical Naval Games / Project Jutland - The "5 Minute Fleet" & other stories.

Evening all,

Project Jutland continues a pace with my 4th batch of ships done, blog post has lots of pics of the new stuff.

There are two Helgoland Class along with the 6 Pre Dreadnoughts of the German High Seas Fleet plus some misc Light stuff.

I have taken the opportunity to work out progress so far and I am just over 50% complete on the Germans and 46% complete on the British . That's at 1 ship model per ship including Destroyers at 1/2400.

I did consider scaling back the Destroyers to 2:1 but thought what the hell, I may never get chance to do this again especially with this much space for the display, so let's do it properly !

I may try and take it to some shows next year, let me know if you have the space.
